Worship is something we can do individually, but God places special importance on believers worshiping together. Sunday mornings at St. John is a great place to come together to celebrate everything that is happening in our church family. We take time to hang out with each other, break bread together (communion), worship together by hearing the word and singing, as well as spend time praying for each other.
We have two distinct worship styles each Sunday, beginning at 8:15 a.m. with Majestic Grace Service (a traditional style of Lutheran worship, which includes the Divine Service and hymns from the Lutheran Service Book, typically led by an organ and other instruments).
At 11 a.m., our NewSong Service is an exciting blend of contemporary and upbeat music in a more relaxed setting, led by a pastor, worship leader, praise band, and singers. Both worship services include Bible-centered messages that will challenge, encourage and help you apply God’s Word in your daily living. Adults and children of all ages attend both Majestic Grace and NewSong worship services.
